He primarily writes about less-than-truckload (LTL) trucking, the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration and electric truck adoption. But he also covers other news, trends and feature stories about the broader trucking industry.
Colin joined the publication in 2022 from Supply Chain Dive, where he reported on efforts by shippers, ports and the White House to untangle supply chains after the COVID-19 pandemic.
Before pivoting to supply chains and trucking, Colin covered transportation for six years at The Baltimore Sun. He shared in The Sun's 2020 Pulitzer Prize for local reporting and its recognition as 2016 Pulitzer Prize finalist for breaking news.
Colin is a Baltimore native who takes off work each year for the Orioles' home opener at Camden Yards. He is a 2013 graduate of the University of South Carolina.
