Colin Campbell
Reporter | @cmcampbell6Colin Campbell is a reporter at Trucking Dive, covering major LTL carriers such as Old Dominion Freight Line, Yellow and XPO, as well as news and trends affecting the broader trucking industry. He enjoys riding in trucks whenever possible, and he writes "Filling the Driver's Seat," a series on truck driver recruitment and retention. (Feel free to email him suggestions of companies, drivers and others to feature!)
Colin joined Trucking Dive in 2022 from its sister publication, Supply Chain Dive, where he reported on operations and procurement responses to major supply chain disruptions. He maintains visibility across the supply chain in his current role, editing Supply Chain Dive and Manufacturing Dive stories.
While he is still learning the trucking industry, Colin's transportation experience includes a six-year stint as transportation reporter at The Baltimore Sun. During nearly a decade at The Sun, he shared in the 2020 Pulitzer Prize for local reporting and its recognition as 2016 Pulitzer Prize finalist for breaking news.
Colin is Baltimore native who takes off work each year for the Orioles' home opener at Camden Yards, and a graduate of the University of South Carolina.
