The Campbell's Company has promoted Cassandra Green, head of supply chain, to chief supply chain officer, effective immediately.

Green, a 14-year veteran of the company, will lead the food manufacturer's end-to-end supply chain, including customer logistics and planning, procurement, operations, manufacturing and supply chain category leadership, according to a March 3 press release. Green will also be responsible for food safety and quality.
Green will report directly to President and CEO Mick Beekhuizen and will join the company’s Operating Committee. She follows Dan Poland, who moved into the EVP and chief enterprise transformation officer role in 2024.
“Cass is a proven leader with deep knowledge of our business and a track record of delivering results,” Beekhuizen said in the release. “Her ability to drive operational excellence and develop strong teams makes her the right leader to help shape our enterprise priorities and further strengthen our supply chain to fuel the growth of our business.”
Green assumes the new role as Campbell’s absorbs network changes resulting from recent facility closures and consolidations, thereby gaining efficiencies. Other food companies making similar moves include PepsiCo and General Mills.
Before becoming CSCO, Green targeted total delivered costs and helped advance approaches to mitigate inflation pressures, the release said. She has also played a key role in advancing operational and digitization initiatives to make Campbell's supply chain a competitive advantage.
Green joined the company in 2010 as a plant manager in Australia, followed by a variety of leadership roles across the organization. They include leading the company's former fresh supply chain, overseeing manufacturing for the Meals & Beverage division and guiding the enterprise co-manufacturing strategy, according to the release.
