28th September, 2026 - Topo, a comprehensive AI-powered sourcing and supply chain platform, announced a new partnership with Boltze, a family-owned wholesaler of home accessories and gift items. Since 1964, Boltze Group has been bringing style, atmosphere and inspiration into homes and retail spaces around the world, offering a diverse and trend-driven collection ranging from candles, vases and tableware to outdoor décor, small furniture and seasonal highlights. As a family-owned company in its second generation, Boltze serves more than 15,000 customers in Germany and internationally, including furniture retailers, DIY stores, garden centres, specialist retailers and mail-order businesses.
Before partnering with Topo, Boltze's processes were spread across several disconnected systems, struggling to map processes and making coordination difficult. To compensate, the team had built in extra manual loops and workarounds, which made workflows more time-consuming and less efficient than they needed to be. As compliance requirements continued to grow, that effort only increased and it became clear that Boltze's previous tool could no longer represent what the business needed.
Boltze set out to find a solution that could support its full end-to-end lifecycle rather than patch individual gaps. "We did not want a tool specialised in one single area," Boltze, explained. "Topo covers the full range we were looking for - from sourcing and article creation through purchasing to the buying and shipping modules - and lets us configure it around our own processes. Having one solution in one place for all of it was the decisive point."
"With Topo, we are creating a digital system for our end-to-end procurement and supply chain processes, including our entire quality control," said Adrian Boltze, CEO and Owner of Boltze. "Our goal is to bring all process steps and stakeholders closer together, to improve collaboration across functions and to base our decisions on a more reliable and efficient data foundation. We are very happy that we chose to work with Topo, and the team has already added a lot of value to our internal processes."
"Boltze is exactly the kind of partner we built Topo for," said Tobias Grabler, COO of Topo. "They came in with real operational complexity and a clear ambition to bring their processes together in one place, and we're proud to support that vision."
According to Boltze, the end-to-end setup was the primary reason for choosing Topo. "Topo covers our processes on the purchasing side in one place and lets us configure them together, instead of connecting separate tools," the company said. "The flexibility of the configuration modules was just as important because it allows us to map the details that matter to us rather than adapt to a fixed system." The evaluation process itself also played a key role in the decision. "The exchange with your team early on was very good," Boltze noted. "In our exchanges all our questions were answered clear and competently, and we got a clear picture of how things would actually work."
Since beginning the rollout, Boltze reports a strong working relationship with the Topo team. "The collaboration has been very good from the start: our requirements are implemented precisely and quickly, and even on tighter timelines we can rely on each other," the company said. "With the first modules in place, we can already see that the decision has paid off. Our expectations have been met so far, and we are looking forward to rolling out the remaining modules."
Looking ahead, Boltze expects the partnership to deliver measurable, long-term impact across the organization. "In the long term we expect significantly more efficiency and a better system-supported way of working for everyone involved, mainly our purchasing department, quality control, and our suppliers."
Key highlights of the partnership include:
- Consolidation of purchasing, sourcing, quality control processes and shipping into one configurable platform
- Elimination of extra manual workflow loops previously needed to compensate for system gaps
- Modular rollout, with early modules already live and delivering value
- Improved collaboration across purchasing, quality control, and suppliers
- A more reliable, system-supported data foundation for decision-making
