Scout RFP, a leader in the cloud-based strategic eSourcing solutions space, today announces the launch of its Summer '17 release. Scout Contracts, its new vendor contract management solution, allows the enterprise to collaboratively and comprehensively manage supplier contracts. In response to the immediate needs of its growing global user base, Scout has also expanded its language capabilities.
Scout Contracts provides a comprehensive, enterprise-wide view of supplier activities, overlapping agreements, and similar terms, all while collaborating across a simplified workflow that engages all necessary stakeholders in real-time. In addition to workflow management and supplier visibility, Contracts delivers custom milestone notifications that give stakeholders the ability to renew, source, or cancel a contract in real-time. It also allows sourcing teams to better manage supplier contracts, eliminate risks, and easily review all data across types, tasks, agreements, end dates, and terms.
This new module to Scout’s sourcing platform provides a comprehensive solution for contract management. Its single repository of contracts and quickstart ability simplifies the entire process. Teams can see contracts in the context of the supplier's other contracts, ensuring that multiple departments aren't negotiating separately and reducing overlap. Scout Contracts also bridges the gap for easy contract auditing, housing all contract data in a centralized location with a clear and auditable communication trail. Working entirely within the Scout platform, sourcing teams can move seamlessly from sourcing event to contract, creating a cohesive end-to-end process.
“Sourcing is always looking for ways to eliminate friction and make a bigger business impact, and Scout Contracts is a valuable addition to its toolkit. Our new sourcing module provides the transparency and usability needed to easily manage contracts and the supplier/stakeholder relationships every step of the way,” said Scout Co-Founder and VP of Product, Chris Crane. “Every organization is looking to easily identify more accurate data-driven opportunities in contracts, and the combination of cloud-based data and cross-enterprise collaboration that Scout provides helps to achieve that.”
On top of its expanded product offerings, Scout has also increased its language offerings. In addition to English, Spanish, and Portuguese, Scout’s eSourcing platform is now available in Chinese and German. This comprehensive language suite means that more users around the world – from sourcing teams to suppliers to stakeholders – can collaborate in Scout.
The introduction of Contracts follows the launch of Scout’s sourcing modules, Pipeline and Intake, which provide real-time visibility and control over spend. For more information on Scout Contracts and its other sourcing offerings, visit www.scoutrfp.com.
